Buckwheat is a super grain that makes a highly nutritious and yummy porridge with a creamy oat-like consistency. It helps lower cholesterol and blood pressure, is high in antioxidants, highly digestible protein and fiber which helps improve digestion.
1. Simply place buckwheat in food processor and pulse until cracked which makes it quicker and easier to cook. 2. Then place all ingredients into a pot on medium heat and stir until porridge is smooth and creamy. Add a little water if needed. 3. Serve with fresh fruit or berries, a splash of almond milk, a little extra drizzle of honey or coconut nectar and some nut butter or tahini.
